February 03, 2021...National Reforms Authority (NRA) technical committe on media issues met with Ministry of Communitions, Science and Technology (MCST) management today.
The meeting comes after the committe met yesterday, urging all media stakeholders to bring their thoughts and creative ideas so as to ensure successful implementation of reforms particularly in this area.
The purpose of the meeting was to amongst others establish how best to operate together in an attempt to attain set goals and targets.
NRA is entrusted with the responsibility to ensure implementation of reforms as outlined by Basotho and in reforms reports including the Second Multi Stakeholders Dialogue report.
Media under the auspices of MCST remains one of the seven areas under reforms.
The meeting was attended by amongst others, Honourable Minister in charge of Communitions, Chief Thesele 'Maseribane and his team as well as NRA media committee representatives.
The journey of reforms has been a long one with SADC having send its mediation team to pave way for peace and stability during and after polls in the country.
The entire reform processes and implementation, though with some challenges is still one of the lasting solutions Basotho are hoping for.
