Nov 22, 2021--The Ministry of Communications, Science and Technology (MCST) will embark on a cleaning campaign starting this Friday, November 26, 2021.
A memo signed by Acting Principal Secretary (PS), Mrs. ‘Mabataung Khalane revealed that the campaign will kick start at Lesotho National Broadcasting Service (LNBS) on Friday at 8:00am.
She called all staff members to partake in this noble exercise meant to ensure that services are offered at an enabling environment. It is anticipated that this initiative will happen on monthly basis across various departments of the Ministry.
MCST has seven departments namely: Administration, ATS, LENA, LNBS, Science and Technology, ICT and Information.
Meanwhile, the Government of Lesotho headed by King Letsie III launched cleaning campaign last year. The intention was to ensure that the nation operates in a clean and conducive environment especially in this era of Covid-19.
Various districts have already been visited whereby Ministers led cleaning campaigns. Therefore, the Ministry of Communications has found it befitting to embark on this campaign so as to complement Government’s effort.
