Sept 02, 2021...The Minister of Communications, Science and Technology (MCST), Honourable Ts'oinyana Rapapa led the launching of internet  and mobile phone towers in Mants'onyane, Thaba-Tseka.

This is an initiative under Universal Service Fund (USF), otherwise a vehicle through which Government aims to ensure that the nation access diverse and high quality as well as  affordable communication services.

Construction of these towers estimated at M7.7 million is expected to be complete by December this year and will be done by a local company known as Shed Water Systems.

Once completed, beneficiaries in this regard will include communities of Ha Mputana and Ha Ntoko including  the nearby villages.

The Minister’s entourage was made up of the Principal Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Communications who is USF Chairperson and other senior officials from the Ministry including LCA.
